Title: Volunteer Social Media Assistant
Location: IGCA Event Venue
Time Commitment: 3-4 hours (depending on the event)
The Indian-German Cultural Association (IGCA) is seeking a creative and enthusiastic volunteer to manage our social media presence during our upcoming events. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, live posting updates and photos, and interacting with our followers on various social media platforms.
- Create and curate content for the IGCA's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) before, during, and after the event
- Live post updates, photos, and videos on social media throughout the event
- Engage with event attendees and followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner
- Monitor and track social media metrics, and provide a report to the IGCA team after the event
- Assist with setting up and managing any on-site social media displays or activations
- Proficient in social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
- Strong writing skills and ability to create engaging and concise social media content
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with social media analytics and tracking tools is a plus, but not required
- Creative and resourceful mindset to generate new ideas for social media content
