Title: Volunteer DJ and Music Assistant

Location: IGCA Event Venue

Time Commitment: 4-5 hours (depending on the event)

Overview:

The Indian-German Cultural Association (IGCA) is seeking talented and enthusiastic volunteers to provide music and entertainment for our upcoming events. As a DJ, Music & Entertainment Volunteer, you will be responsible for playing music, making announcements, and engaging the audience to create a fun and memorable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide music and entertainment for the event, including playing a variety of music genres to suit the audience
• Work with the IGCA team to plan the event program, including announcements, games, and other entertainment activities
• Engage with the audience to create a lively and fun atmosphere, encourage dancing and participation in games and other activities
• Ensure that all equipment is set up and working properly before the event, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event
• Coordinate with the event coordinator and other volunteers to ensure that the event runs smoothly and on schedule

Qualifications:

• Experience as a DJ or in providing music and entertainment at events
• Knowledge of a variety of music genres and ability to cater to the audience's tastes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with the audience and make announcements
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle a busy environment
• Reliable and punctual, with a professional and positive attitude

Training and Support:

• A briefing will be provided before the event to familiarize volunteers with the event program and equipment
• The IGCA team will be available throughout the event to provide support and answer any questions
